Dr. Eric Winkler is Director of Technical Services for CEERE and primarily responsible for technical support services to state and federal energy and environmental agencies. He is also responsible for development programs with private sector energy and technology companies. His work focuses on the commercialization of environmental and energy technologies. This includes providing technology due diligence, pilot/ full-scale demonstration protocols, analytical testing, policy and regulatory planning, and commercialization planning. His main research and development areas include: environmental quality control systems for water, waste and air in industrial, commercial and residential settings. Current projects involve air and water quality control technologies in environmental and energy sectors. He is also lead in development of statewide programs for Research and Development investment in traditional manufacturing industries sponsored by the US DOE Office of Industrial Technologies.

Dr. Chad Nelson is director of the National Environmental Technology Center in the UMass Environmental Instititute. Dr. Nelson is co-director of the Massachusetts Energy Efficiency Partnership. Dr. Nelson is responsible for metrics and reporting for the program.

Nicole Intinerelli is an undergraduate business major at UMass. She is the program assistant responsible for managing traning events and coordinating data management activities.

Jerry Schoen is senior reserach staff for the Massachusetts Stormwater Technology Evaluation Project. Jerry is resposnible for program implementation and technology review. Jerry is associated with the Environmental Institute at UMass Amherst and is involved in numerous projects related to water and water quality.

Marie-Franciose Walk is reserach staff for the Massachusetts Stormwater Technology Evaluation Project. Francoise is resposnible for implementation of the web site, program documentation, and program outreach. Francoise is associated with the Environmental Institute at UMass Amherst and is director of Massachusetts Water Watch Project.

Previous Staff

Nicholas Bouthelette is an Assistant Research Engineer primarily focusing on our environmental programs in water and wastewater.  Nicholas is a senior undergraduate student in the College of Engineering Civil and Environmental Engineering Program.  Nicholas has experience as a design engineer with a small firm in California and is supporting several research contracts with State and NGOs on technology transfer.   Andrew Tolopko is currently contracted to support database and web site development.  Andrew has extensive experience in database design and interface development.  Andrew is an undergraduate Computer Science Major and has returned to school after working in the private sector for several years.
