Dr. Utama Abdulwahid, Post Doctoral Research Associate

Dr. Utama Abdulwahid first joined the lab as a doctoral student, working on drive train dynamic analysis and modelling. He then worked on hybrid power system modelling, providing technical support for Hybrid2 and finishing with a dissertation on communications between hybrid power system components. Additionally, his research interest include wind farm site modelling and visualizations.

Utama received a Bachelors in Mechanical Engineering from Universiti Teknologi Malaysia, Skudai, Johor Darul Takzim in 1993 and a Masters of Science from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute in Troy, New York in 1994. He received a Ph.D. in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Massachusetts at Amherst in 2005.
